How to save bookmarks with the browser extension

The Save to Recollect browser extension and bookmarklet let you save any web page to Recollect as a bookmark note in one click.

Getting the browser extension

Click the gear icon and select Settings, then open the Bookmarks tab. Under Get the browser extension, install it for Chrome or Firefox. If you use another browser, drag the Save to Recollect bookmarklet to your bookmarks bar instead.

Saving a page

While viewing any web page, click the Save to Recollect extension button or bookmarklet. The page is saved to your notes as a bookmark, with its title and link.

Saving the page content

If you want to keep a readable copy of each page, turn on Extract page content on the Bookmarks tab. New bookmarks saved with the extension or bookmarklet will then include the main content of the page. For more on organizing bookmarks with tags, see managing bookmarks.
