How to mention teammates in a note

When you are on a team, you can mention a teammate in a note to notify them and, depending on your team settings, give them access to the note.

Mentioning someone

While editing a note, type @ followed by a teammate’s name, then choose them from the list that appears. Their name is added to the note as a mention, and they receive a notification letting them know.

Mentions and access

Your team’s settings decide what happens when you mention someone: the note can stay private, or the person can be given view or edit access automatically. Mentions must be allowed in your team settings, and you will need to be online to mention someone.
