Push notifications let Recollect alert you on your device when something needs your attention, such as a new share or mention. Push notifications are set per device.

## Turning on push notifications

Click the gear icon and select **Settings**, then open the **Preferences** tab. Under **Push Notifications**, turn on **Enable push notifications on this device** and allow notifications when your browser asks.

## On iPhone and iPad
