The Save to Recollect browser extension and bookmarklet let you save any web page to Recollect as a bookmark note in one click.

## Getting the browser extension

Click the gear icon and select **Settings**, then open the **Bookmarks** tab. Under **Get the browser extension**, install it for **Chrome** or **Firefox**. If you use another browser, drag the **Save to Recollect** bookmarklet to your bookmarks bar instead.

## Saving a page

While viewing any web page, click the **Save to Recollect** extension button or bookmarklet. The page is saved to your notes as a bookmark, with its title and link.

## Saving the page content

If you want to keep a readable copy of each page, turn on **Extract page content** on the **Bookmarks** tab. New bookmarks saved with the extension or bookmarklet will then include the main content of the page. For more on organizing bookmarks with tags, see [managing bookmarks](https://recollect.fyi/support/managing-notes/managing-bookmarks/).
