When you delete a note, it is moved to the Trash, where it can be restored for up to 30 days before it is permanently removed.

## Restoring a note

Click the gear icon and select **Settings**, then open the **Trash** tab. Find the note you want and click **Restore** to return it to your notes. You can also click **View** to preview a note before restoring it, or **Delete** to remove it permanently.
