Bulk Edit lets you select several notes at once and act on all of them together, which is handy for tidying up, tagging in batches, or exporting a specific set of notes.

## Turning on Bulk Edit

Click the gear icon above your notes list and select **Bulk Edit**. A selection bar appears at the top of the list.

## Selecting notes

A checkbox appears on each note. Tick the notes you want, or use **Select All** to choose every note in the current list. The bar shows how many notes are selected. Tip: filter or search your notes first, so **Select All** only picks the notes you mean to change.

## What you can do with the selection

- **Delete** the selected notes. They move to Trash, where you can restore them for 30 days.
- **Add tags** to every selected note at once.
- **Remove tags** from every selected note at once.
- **Export** just the selected notes as a download.

## Leaving Bulk Edit

Click the **X** in the selection bar, or open the gear menu and turn off **Bulk Edit**, to return to normal browsing.
