How to add videos to a note

You can add videos to a note in two ways: embed a YouTube or Vimeo video, or upload and host your own videos with Cloudflare Stream.

Embedding a YouTube or Vimeo video

Click Video in the toolbar Insert dropdown, or type / on an empty line and select Video. In the Add a video window, paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL into the Embed field. Embedding a video requires no setup.

Uploading your own videos

To upload and host videos, first connect a Cloudflare Stream account. Click the gear icon and select Settings, open the Videos tab, enter your Account ID and API Token, and click Connect Cloudflare Stream.

Once connected, open the Add a video window in a note and use Upload Video to upload a new video, or Select Video to choose one you have already uploaded. After uploading, Cloudflare Stream processes the video, which can take a few minutes.
